Volunteer Opportunities

The proverb, "It takes a village to raise a child," could not be more authentic and resonates with each of us. At Finksburg Baseball, we strive to build a community that supports the boys and girls of our community, providing them with a safe and supportive environment to learn and explore sport, competition, teamwork, and leadership.

We are proud of this program and how it contributes to our young athlete's development and are so thankful for all the volunteers that give to this program to make it a success. In an ideal world, all of our parents/guardians would contribute to the success of this program, but we realize sometimes that is not practical. We also realize that often, people assume that they don't have the time to commit to making a difference. At Finksburg Baseball, we have so many opportunities to get involved spanning from a very minor commitment to more involved commitments.

Speak to any of those who have volunteered consistently to Finksburg Baseball and you'll hear the same stories. "Love Baseball and being around these kids learning the game", "It's amazing watching these young athletes grow up in the program", and "Its so rewarding to be part of an organization that cares about these kids and our community".

The more volunteers we have, the less work on any one individual, the stronger the program becomes, and the more fun we all have. Please take a look at the needs below, and if you're inspired to lend your talent, please let us know!
