Annual Sam Snider Summer Camp
Your camp coaches, Sam Snider and Jeffrey Snider:
Sam was with the Baltimore Orioles from 1980-2007, serving as the batting practice pitcher, bullpen catcher, and bullpen coach. Sam was hired full-time with the Orioles by Cal Ripken Sr. in 1987. In his time with the Orioles, he threw batting practice to Hall of Famers Eddie Murray and Cal Ripken Jr. and warmed up greats such as Jim Palmer, Scott McGregor, and Mike Mussina in the bullpen.
After the Orioles, Sam went on to coach in the Atlantic League alongside Orioles Hall of Famers Chris Hoiles and Tippy Martinez for the York Revolution. Sam has 30 years of professional baseball experience and is a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the game.
Sam's son, Jeffrey, is a Finksburg Lions Alum, 2019 All-MIAA Team at Loyola Blakefield, now playing college ball at Bridgewater College. For the 2023 season, Jeffrey started all but two games, led the team in walks and home runs, ranked third on the team in doubles and RBIs, and racked up four RBI in a win over Washington and Lee where he hit the go-ahead three-run home run.

Ages
This program is designed for players ages 7 - 14.
The program is designed for 20 players. Should we have greater interest, we will expand the program.
When
2023: This three-day camp runs July 15th - 17th from 9 AM to 12:30 each day.

Cost
Early Bird Pricing: $190 per player and includes a t-shirt if you register by June 9th
Normal Registration: $215 per player.

2024 Sam Snider Baseball Camp
Former Orioles batting practice pitcher, bullpen catcher, and bullpen coach Sam Snider will host a 3-day camp July 15th - 17th for players ages 7-14, from 9 - 12:30 each day. This camp is designed for 20 kids (but can be expanded if we have more interest)!
