Summer Bash
Thank you to all our teams that competed in the 2023 tournament. Mother nature threw everything it could at our tournament team, but nothing was going to stop them from completing the games. A HUGE thank you to all involved in preparing, fixing, and refixing the fields. Thank you to all the teams for being flexible and adapting to field changes, schedule changes, and everything in between.
Congratulations to our winners:
13U Travel - Baltimore Baseball Club - winning both their games in the Round Robin, they seeded #2 in the elimination round winning two close games to become the 13U Tournament Champions.
12U Travel - Finksburg Baseball - met in the championship game the HBC Bucks who beat them in the Round Robin with some impactful pitching. Finksburg took advantage of their second showdown beating HBC 9 - 5 in the championship game.
12U All-stars - GVAA Lions - Having gone 1-1 in the Round Robin, GVAA took the 2 seed by only allowing 7 runs between their two games. They drew #1 seed Hampstead in the final winning a tight game 9-8.

Where is this tournament?
The tournament takes place at our Roaring Run and Deer Park complexes. For address, map, and directions, please refer to our maps page.
What are the age groups for the tournament?
12U Rec/All-Star Division - Players must be 12 or younger on May 1, 2023. This is intended for players who are not on a travel team, participate in an in-house program, and can be an individual recreational team or a program's recreational all-star team.
12U “Div 2” Travel Division - Players must be 12 or younger on May 1, 2023. This is intended for division 2 travel programs. This tournament is not intended for elite/tournament-only teams.
13U “Div 2” Travel Division - Players must be 13 or younger on May 1, 2023. This is intended for division 2 travel programs. This tournament is not intended for elite/tournament-only teams.
What is the format of the tournament?
Play in two-seeding games will begin on Friday evening and continue on Saturday. The results of these will set up a single-elimination tournament that begins on Sunday. In this format, all teams are guaranteed three (3) games.
What is included with registration?
Registration includes a minimum of three games, umpire fees, game balls, MVP medals awarded at each game, and trophies awarded to the top two teams in each division.
What does the tournament cost?
The tournament cost is $700 with an early bird discount of $50 for teams that register by April 15th. We offer two payment plans:
- Payment in full upon registration
- $300 deposit at registration date, with the remainder due on June 1st
Our website allows payment through E-Check and credit cards. If you need to make other payment arrangements, please contact our Tournament Director, and we will work with you.
