Softball Summer Nights
In Finksburg, we love softball and we are keeping the fun going all summer with two programs.
PROGRAM 1:
Summer Pick-up Games
July 17, Aug 4, and Aug 18. 6:00 to 8:00
8U - 12U games (teams picked on the spot)
The games are geared to recreational players, and we will use the same rules that were used for the regular season (which can be found on this page https://www.finksburgbaseball.com/leagues/finksburg-softball/4121).
Adult volunteers are needed to help set up fields and coach. Email James Engler if you're interested. You'll need to complete Carroll County's Background checks and have your volunteer card to help (https://www.finksburgbaseball.com/coaching-resources/volunteer-background-check/2921)
NOTE: You'll be added to a "team" in our system for purposes of tracking attendance. Please mark attendance for each date so we have enough volunteers and resources.
PROGRAM 2:
Summer Softball Clinics
This is a series of six clinics over the summer each with a different primary focus. Although these will build on eachother, feel free to come to one or come to them all.
Clinics will start at 6:00 and end between 7:30 and 8:00.
Dates:
July 7, July 14, July 25, July 28, Aug 1, Aug 15

2025 Summer Clinics
Over the summer, we will be hosting 6 clinics geared towards our 8U - 12U athletes. The clinics will be designed to build off one another, but are flexible enough so you can come to the ones you can make.
The clinics will start at 6:00 and end around 8:00 each day.
I am looking for volunteers to help run the clinics. I will have instructions for each station each week. If you have the passion, please let me know you're interested in helping! You don't have to be there every week. I'll take all the help I can get!
